Let us introduce ourselves…
We are Helen and Martin Arnold, and we have recently moved into Holly Farm, Devon. We have had a longstanding dream to move from suburban Leicester to a rural property, preferably near the sea! We sold our house in January 2020 and had viewed several properties – none of which were right for us. As the country went into lockdown, we saw the estate agents’ details for Holly Farm.

Holly Farm
Holly Farm is a Grade-II listed detached stone and cob cottage, dating from the 18th century, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
It seemed to be just what we were looking for – 9 acres on the edge of a village, and only 10 miles from the sea. It proved to be tricky to buy a property 200 miles away in the middle of a pandemic, but in August 2020 we finally moved in!
