By booking on our website, you are accepting all terms and conditions.
- Definitions

When the following words are used in these Terms and Conditions, this is what they mean:
- “Campsite”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”: Holly Farm, Alston, Axminster, Devon, EX13 7LG
- “Website”: www.hollyfarmdevon.uk
- “Booking”: a booking request submitted to us via our website, email, phone, post or in person.
- “Arrival date”: the date on which your booking commences and you are due to arrive at the site.
- “Prices”: the cost of our services detailed on the website.
- Contract

- The Terms and our price list set out the agreement between you and Holly Farm Devon for the supply of our services to you. Only these Terms shall apply to our contract with you.
- Please check that the details in these Terms and your Booking are complete and accurate before you submit your booking.
- By submitting a booking you are deemed to have accepted these Terms.
- We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time and any such changes will take immediate effect when posted on the website or brought to your attention. Any new conditions or amendments will apply to your booking.
- In addition to these Terms you must abide by the Rules below.
- If you do not adhere to our Terms, you will be in breach of your contract and will be made to leave.
- The campsite is for recreational camping only.
- Making a Booking

- Booking is advised as we cannot guarantee availability to ‘walk in’ customers.
- You can book online via our website, via email or by phone.
- Bookings are not transferable to another party.
- When making a booking you agree that you or at least one member of your party is over 21 years old, you have the authority of all the persons in your party to book on their behalf. You accept these Terms and conditions on the behalf of all the persons in your party and you agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by a member of your party.
- A booking is subject to a minimum stay of 2 nights.
- A booking cannot be made for more than 14 days. A person or persons may not stay on site for longer than 14 days.
- If you are part of a group of 10 people or over, you must phone us before making a booking otherwise you may be refused entry on arrival.
- You must be able to provide proof of booking on arrival; booking reference number, printed confirmation or a screen shot on a mobile device if asked.
- No hen/stag parties or weddings.
- Arrival and Departure

- Check in is not before 13:00 and you must vacate your pitch by 10:30 on your departure day.
- No pitches are reserved and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Pitches are not numbered but you must leave a gap of 6m between all tents. This is a legal requirement, and you may be asked to move your tents if pitched too close to another.
- Site Rules
- You, and all the members of your party are required to comply with the following rules:

- We reserve the right to refuse admission. We only accept responsible guests that are considerate to other site users and are respectful of the environment and our home.
- The campsite is a tent only area. All tents must be non-permanent. Trailer tents are not accepted.
- You must keep to the 5mph speed limit on our farm for your safety and the safety of others. There is no vehicle access to the camping field. Parking is provided in an adjacent field.
- All litter should be placed in the bins provided. You must take large items of rubbish away with you. Only general food waste and packaging is to be disposed of in your bins. The bins are clearly labelled with recycling instructions.
- You must not smoke around the farm or near any of the livestock.
- You will be liable for any damages or excess cleaning caused to any of our property and will be charged.
- All children must be closely supervised by an adult. Holly Farm Devon is a working farm with machinery and livestock nearby.
- Whilst on our farm you and any members of your party must not enter any buildings apart from the toilet and showers, climb over any walls, fences, or gates. You will be liable for any damage caused.
- If you bring a dog, this remains your responsibility at all times. It must be on a lead and not left unattended. They must be exercised away from the main camping areas, and you are responsible for any mess, which should be cleared up and disposed of immediately.
- There must be no loud or disrupting noise between 22:00 and 8:00. Music must be kept to a reasonable volume and switched off by 22:00. If you arrive back after 22:00 you must not disturb other guests.
- Fires are allowed but must be contained within a raised metal fire bowl. BBQs are permitted if raised off the ground. Disposable BBQs are not allowed. You are liable at all times for any fires or BBQs and must dispose of BBQ ash in the metal bin provided. We do not allow fires of any sort inside your tent due to the high risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and flammability of tents. We reserve the right to suspend the use of fire bowls and charcoal BBQs in periods of very dry weather in order to protect the surrounding environment.
- No paddling pools, swimming pools, slides or water balloons are allowed on any part of the site.
- Drunk, disorderly, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately with no refund, should this occur.
- We cannot accept responsibility for your possessions, or any personal injury sustained while on our farm, subject to Section 10 (“Liability”). Any accidents should be reported to the owners so that we can log the incident in the accident book.
- Only the people included on your booking are allowed onto our site. We are unable to accept day visitors.
- Prices

- The prices are based on a nightly rate. Whilst we will make every effort to ensure that our prices remain unchanged, they may be amended at any time.
- The prices are per pitch with a maximum occupancy of 2 adults, 3 children and 1 dog.
- There is a minimum stay of 2 nights and a maximum stay of 14 nights.
- Payment

- Non-payment renders your contract with us as invalid and you will be asked to leave the farm.
- The full balance of your booking must be paid in full before pitching your tent.
- For bookings made via our website, email, or phone. We require a 25% deposit at the time of reservation. The balance of your holiday is payable 28 days prior to your arrival. Reservations made less than 28 days prior to arrival are fully payable at the time of booking.
- For bookings made in person, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- We accept payment online via the website, by BACS, over the phone or by card.
- Amendments, Cancellations, and Refunds

- In certain circumstances we may have to cancel your booking where extreme weather makes the site unsafe and there is a risk to public safety eg flooding. In which case you will be contacted and offered an alternative or refund.
- You may amend your booking up to 28 days before your date of arrival.
- Bookings are not transferable to another party.

You may cancel your booking:
- Within 7 days of making the reservation and receive a full refund. Please note deposit payments become non-refundable 7 days after the reservation.
- Up to 28 days prior to your arrival and any monies paid will be refunded less the deposit amount.
- Up to 14 days prior to your arrival and 50% of any monies will be repaid less the deposit amount.
- Within 14 days of your arrival and no monies will be repaid.
- Complaints

- In the unlikely event of you having a complaint please speak to the owners. If we cannot rectify the problem within a reasonable time frame, you will be compensated with a partial or full refund.
- Liability

- Nothing in this section limits or attempts to limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter for which it would be illegal or unlawful for us to exclude to attempt to exclude our liability.
- If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for the loss or damage you suffer that is a direct and foreseeable result of our failure or negligence. We shall not be responsible for any losses that you suffer that are indirect or not foreseeable, including, but not limited to, loss of income or revenue, loss of business and loss of anticipated savings.
- Where we are responsible for your loss of equipment or personal belongings, our maximum liability shall be no more than to refund the amount paid for the holiday.
- As our farm is located in a rural environment, we do not accept responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by livestock, plants, trees, wildlife or weather. We advise you to have the relevant insurance.
- As our farm is located in a rural environment, we do not accept responsibility for any damage to any of the vehicles owned by your party. Should any of the vehicles require assistance or towing we shall not be held responsible for any damage caused to the vehicles. You should check that your insurance will allow secondary towing.
- We do not accept responsibility for anything that adversely affects your holiday that is outside of our control. We advise you to have suitable travel insurance.
- The Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- We are covered by up-to-date Public Liability Insurance.
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

- Any data you provide to us is stored securely and is only used with regards to your booking.
- Any payment details, such as card information, are not stored or seen by us. They are provided directly by you to our payment partner, SumUp Inc., for the purpose of taking payment(s) for your booking.
- We use third party services to manage some aspects of our booking process, and we may need to provide these third parties (known as “Data Processors”) with some of the data you provide to us to be able to fulfil our services. Please check our Privacy Policy for more details.
- If you receive an email from us and do not wish to be on our mailing list, you can opt out at any time.
